When I first came to the UK in 1993 my first job was in a kitchen as Chef de Partie in a family run hotel. I really liked the atmosphere, the stress and pressure of a busy kitchen, so I chose to stay in hospitality.

Later, I began working at Cambridge Belfry Hotel as Junior Sous Chef. I started at Murray Edwards 12 years ago. My favourite style of cooking is BBQ, but being Portuguese, I absolutely love fish and seafood. When cooking I like using fresh ingredients, so in an ideal world I would get rid ultra processed food everywhere!
