Residential Schools and Educational Programmes

Our venue
Situated just a 15-minute stroll from the lively Cambridge city centre, Murray Edwards College provides an excellent venue for educational programmes. The college's extensive grounds seamlessly combine striking brutalist architecture with tranquil open gardens, creating a distinctive and motivating atmosphere for both learning and relaxation.
Our facilities accommodate diverse educational requirements. We have a variety of learning facilities, from intimate rooms ideal for small-group instruction to larger spaces suitable for a wide range of activities and classes, as well as two, tiered lecture theatres with a capacity of up to 140 students each.
Students enjoy their meals served in the College's Dome Dining Hall. We also offer barbecues and formal dinners (subject to availability and a supplement).

Art Café
Our Art Café is open throughout term time and the summer school season (July and August), serving a range of lunch options (including soup, paninis, sandwiches and salads), hot and cold drinks and sweet treats. As a non-bookable space, the café is open to all for study, a catch up with friends and coursemates, or a moment to yourself.
